This tour covers the best of wetland birds, the lowland forests of the Nameri National Park and the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas upto Eaglenest Pass and Sela Top. We cover woodland forests, montane and deciduous forests and bamboo thickets all the way upto the snowline of Pine forests.

Day 1.: Arrival at Guwahati airport and transfer to Nameri National Park. Depending on arrival time we will go straight to the park and do birding around the Park outskirts. Night stay at Nameri Eco Camp.

Day 2.: This will be our full day birding at the Park. Today we will look out for the White Winged Wood Duck, the Ibisbill, the Green and Purple Cochoa, Flycatchers and other birds. Night Stay at Nameri Eco Camp.

Day 3.: We checkout from the Nameri Eco Camp and do on the way birding along the road all the way upto the Eaglenest Lama Camp. On the way we search for Laughingthrushes, Flycatchers, Yuhinas and Fulvettas etc. Night stay at Lama Camp at Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary.

Day 4.: This will be a full day birding at Lama Camp and adjoining areas. Today we look out for the prize of the Eaglenest Wildlife Sancturary- the Bugun Liochichla. We also search for the Wards Trogon, the Bhutan Laughing Thrush, the Rufous Throated Wren Babbler, the Himalayan Cutia, the Rufous Vented Laughing Thrush, the Red faced Liochichla, the cute little Black Throated Tit and the Black faced Warbler and so many other birds of this birders paradise. Night stay at Lama Eco Camp.

Day 5.: This will be a full day birding at Lama Camp and adjoing areas. Night stay at Lama Eco Camp.

Day 6: We do our morning birding session around the Lama Camp and after breakfast we leave the camp. After breakfast we do birding all along the way and check into the Bompu Camp deep inside the Eaglenest Wildlife sanctuary. On the way we will look out for the Temminck’s Tragopan, the Fire Tailed Myzornis, Mrs Gould’s Sunbird, the Blyth’s Tragopan, Ward’s Trogon, the Spot Winged Grosbeak, the Spotted Elachura, the Pygmy Flycatcher, Upland Buzzard, Mountain Hawk Eagle etc. Night stay at Bompu Camp.

Day 7: Full day we will do the surrounding areas around Bompu Camp and all the way upto the grassland of Kellong. Today we search for the Fulvous Parrotbill, the Brown Parrotbill, the Great Parrotbill, the Rufous Necked Hornbill, the White Breasted Parrotbill, the Rufous Throated Partridge, the Chestnut bellied Partridge etc. Night stay at Bompu Camp.

Day 8.: This is the final day of the Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary. We do morning birding around the camp area and after breakfast we will leave the camp. We shall do full day birding along the way upto Lama Camp and by evening reach Dirang where we will check into the Hotel for the night. Night stay at Dirang.

Day 9: We will leave the hotel at Dirang early morning by 3:30 am and drive to Sela Pass at an altitude of 4300 meters. We shall do on the way birding and cover Sela Pass and the adjoining areas for the Blood Pheasant, the Snow Partridge, the Snow Pigeon, the Red Billed Chough, the Coal Tit, the Fire Tailed Myzornis, the White Throated Dipper, the Brown Dipper and other species of birds. After lunch, we shall check out of the Hotel and drive back to Guwahati. This is a long drive and will take almost 8 hours to reach the hotel in Guwahati.

Day 10.: Checkout from Hotel and drop to Guwahati airport. Tour ends.
