This tour covers the best of wetland bird and the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas all the way upto Mayudia Pass at an altitude of 2550 meters. We cover swampy grasslands, woodland forests, montane and deciduous forests and bamboo thickets.

Day 1.: Arrival at Dibrugarh airport and transfer to Roing. We check into the Frogmouth Camp and do evening birding around the camp. At night we try for the Hodgson’s Frogmouth and the Brown Wood Owl around the camp.

Day 2.: This will be our full day birding around Frogmouth Camp and the lower Mishmi Hills upto Tewarigoan. Today we will try for the Coral Billed Scimitar Babbler, the Red Billed Scimitar Babbler, the Slender Billed Scimitar Babbler, the Long Billed and Eyebrowed Wren Babblers, the Greater and Lesser Rufous Headed Parrotbills and so many other birds on the area. Night stay at Frogmouth camp.

Day 3.: We checkout from the Frogmouth camp and do birding all along as we climb up the Hills upto Coffee House where we will be staying for the night. Full day birding on the way where we look out for the endemic Mishmi Wren Babbler, the Cachar Wedge Billed Babbler, the Scarlet Finch, the Bar Winged Wren Babbler, the Spotted Elachuria, Fulvous Parrotbill, the Black Throated Parrotbill etc and at night we try for the Himalayan Owl near Mayudia Pass.

Day 4.: This will be a full day birding around Mayudia Pass and the 52 km and 65 kms points. Today we will search for the Beautiful Nutharch, the Ward’s Trogon, the Blyth’s Tragopan, Mrs Gould’s Sunbird, the Blue Fronted Robin, the White Tailed Robin, the Himalayan and Rusty Bellied Shortwings, Fulvettas and Minlas etc. Night stay at Coffee House.

Day 5.: This will be a full day birding around Mayudia Pass and the 52 km and 65 kms points. Night stay at Coffee House.

Day 6: We check out of Coffee House and do birding on our way down upto Roing By E.vening transfer to Tinsukia and night stay at Maguri Eco Camp at Tinsukia.

Day 7: Early morning we will do the Maguribeel and the Grassland. Here we will look out for the Marsh Babbler, the Swamp Grass Babbler/Prinia, the Chestnut capped Babbler, the Falcated Duck, Swamp Francolin, Blue Breasted Quail, Black Breasted Parrotbill, the Jerdons Babbler, Baikal Bush Warbler and so many other grassland/swamp birds. The afternoon we will be doing the Bherjan Reserved Forest searching for the Lesser Shortwing, the Rusty Bellied Shortwing, the Pygmy Cupwing, Pin Striped Tit Babbler etc. In the evening we will spend around the Maguri Beel checking out the different waterfowls. Late evening we shall do some owling around the camp searching for the Collared Scops Owl, the Brown Boobock, Oriental Scops Owl etc. Night stay at Maguri Eco Camp.

Day 8.: This is the final day of the tour. Depending on departure times, we shall do the Maguri Grasslands for any left over species from the previous day. After the morning session and breakfast at the Camp, we shall leave for Dibrugarh airport depending on flight departure timings. Drop at Airport and Tour ends.
